This was the first purchase for Peaceful Valley Coffee Company. Stumbling across this coffee, we could not believe what we had found. The “La Bastilla” is exceptional and an outlier, in terms of typical Nicaraguan coffee quality.. Drinking it daily feels like a privelege.
Due to innovative cultivation (see H3 variety), the coffee sparkles with a gem-like quality, strawberry, and oolong sweetness at lighter roasts. Darker roasts transform that sparkle into a milk chocolate, toffee, macadamia decadence.
This La Bastilla Estate offering goes against typical expectations for Nicaraguan coffee and is immaculate!
